My book, “Women, Enough!” tells the story of the struggles and adversity I faced yet ending with a triumph and renewed purpose. It’s not just triumph for me, but for the countless number of women who have struggled and had "enough" of accepting the poor behaviors of men.
I decided to write this book after surviving cancer in 2012. I was diagnosed with aggressive growth Breast Cancer which required a very strong series of chemotherapy treatments and radiation therapy. I was at the peak of my career; achieving the most financial success in my entire life. I had the houses, cars, vacations and so much more. Yet, with all of that, I was empty and my cup was full of responsibility.
Overnight, my world turned upside down and I was forced to put all of the material possessions aside and fight for my life. More importantly, the things I perceived most valuable, were no longer meaningful or necessary. Living became my number one goal. I said, “If God would give me a chance to live again, I was going to do things differently and it would no longer be about material assets, but about purpose.”

One by one we are going to make men step up and be accountable for their behavior. We are going to encourage them to rise up and be the heads of our households. We are going to step back and let them lead. We are going to stop acting like men; then wondering why they treat us like men and disrespect us!
