Filmmaker's Bio
I am a documentary filmmaker and former crewmember of the USS Belleau Wood (LHA-3), serving onboard from November 1982 - January 1985. A former radioman and international morse code specialist, I made two Western Pacific deployments onboard the ship, visiting such places as Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Korea, Africa and Australia.

I am a 4-time Emmy Award/5-time Golden Mike Award winning journalist formerly with CBS in Hollywood where I am a red carpet entertainment reporter. I've also worked at DirecTV, The Reelz Channel, The Word Network, Big Brother, The Amazing Race and The NFL Network. My career began onboard the USS Belleau Wood as the ship's sports anchor during deployments. That's where I got my first TV experience and will be forever grateful for it.

A New Orleans native, I proudly served four years in the US Navy and considers it the single most important career decision I have ever made. It was my ticket to Hollywood. In addition, I am author of Dining With The Ancestors: When Heroes Come To Dinner (www.DiningWithTheAncestors.com) and hosts a weekly syndicated radio show called The Jazzspel.

My daughter Aerica and I reside in North Orange County, California.

It was all a dream when my TV career began onboard the USS Belleau Wood in the middle of the Indian Ocean in 1984.
I've worked at CBS, ABC, NBC, Big Brother, DirecTV, The NFL Network, The Word Network and more.

That persistence has landed me 9 Emmys and Golden Mike Awards for my work at CBS in Hollywood.

I'm thankful for my Navy days.
